TechRounder Data

Privacy and Cookie Policy

What information this site handles when you browse, search, download data or contact us.

Last updated: 1 September 2026

TechRounder Data does not require an account. The site collects only the limited technical information needed to deliver pages, protect the service and respond when you contact us.

Information handled when you visit

Like most websites, the web server may receive your IP address, browser and device details, requested URL, referring page and request time. These details may appear in standard hosting, security and error logs. They are used to operate the site, investigate faults and limit abuse.

Searches, filters, downloads and API requests

Search terms and filter values are sent to the server because they are needed to return the requested records. Values placed in a URL can also appear in browser history and server logs. API rate limiting uses a one-way hash of a network identifier in short-lived local cache entries. The application does not build advertising profiles from these actions.

Cookies and browser storage

The current TechRounder Data application does not set account, session, advertising or preference cookies, and it does not use local storage. Its JavaScript supports the menu, copy buttons and dataset filters. Hosting or security providers may use strictly operational cookies if they are configured to protect or deliver the site.

Analytics and advertising

The current application does not load third-party advertising or analytics scripts. This policy will be updated if that changes.

Email and correction reports

If you email us, we receive your address, message and any details you choose to include. We use that information to reply, verify a report and keep a reasonable record of the work. Do not send passwords, payment details, identity documents or private account records.

Sharing and sale of personal information

TechRounder Data does not sell personal information. Limited technical data may be handled by hosting, email and security providers that help operate the service. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or needed to protect the site and its users.

Dataset pages link to official registries, manufacturers and other publishers. Their privacy practices apply after you leave this site.

Questions or requests

Email [email protected] if you have a privacy question or want us to review personal information contained in a message you sent. We may need enough detail to identify the message and confirm that the request comes from the sender.
